This pack contain 10 black balls representing carbon atoms, for instance, and the diameter of each atom is 23 mm. Each atom has two holes arranged at 180° meaning two bonds may be represented. If you want to make third bond (as in ethene for instance) or fourth bond (as in methane for instance we also supply black 3- and 4-hole atoms with the holes appropriately positioned.

Why would I need these? You could use them to represent a carbon atom in a compound such as ethyne, HCCH in which the HCC angles are 180° and you don’t want your model to have empty holes or don’t want to include π-orbitals.

This pack is for extending an existing set or for replacing lost parts.
