The Molymod graphite kit can be used to assemble an elegant model of graphite with 3 layers of carbon atoms each containing 15 atoms. The atom parts are made of high quality attractive solid plastic spheres.

Contents of the Molymod graphite kit

The contents are contained within a sturdy plastic storage box (235 x 170 x 35 mm) and includes a brief instruction leaflet.

45 carbon atoms (23 mm diameter, 5-hole, black)

Bonds

51 medium links (grey, medium, single bonds)
16 long links (purple)

The medium links are used to join the atoms to form a hexagonal network and the longer purple links to join the layers.
