Modifications to forums - request for feedback
Submitted by WebElements on 13 May 2006 - 9:27am.I'm spending far too long deleting spam posts from Russia and their posters at present. The current software takes too long to update when changes come along since version updates require source code modifications to keep added features working.
I have identified different software that I may switch to over in the next couple of months but I'd like to here what features you like/dislike on the current system, and what features you might like in the future. Please add comments....

Electrolysis of water
Submitted by KingElz on 8 June 2008 - 3:21pm.I have a few questions for the electrolysis of water.
If 4 Litres of water is used and lets say for example a 9 volt battery is used. How much hydrogen and oxygen will be produced per second in terms of molecules?
Also if salt is added to the water to speed up the process, how much salt would be needed and would the products from the electrolysis change?
Please answer
Thank you

My dad is on an IV....
Submitted by cerenah on 10 May 2008 - 4:35pm.My dad has just been sent home from a 4 month stay in the hospital. He's now on home health care, but not by a paid nurse...by my mother. He's on an IV and a feeding tube. They gave us a very limited supply of sodium chloride seeing as how he needs it for the IV and to clean out the feeding tube...so I was wondering if anybody can tell me how to make 0.9% sodium chloride. We need it to hold us over until his next check up date at the hospital when they will give us some more. Any help whatsoever will be VERY much appreciated!! Thanks so much!
Anodizing/plating supplies
Submitted by roxi45 on 25 April 2008 - 9:26pm.I think this is the best section to post this?-
Does anyone know a good source for hobby plating at a semi professional level? I’ve got a small set from cowbell plating but I would like something more than using house hold stuff to get by. I was looking at hobbyplating.com and they had some really nice stuff but it looks like their site is down and I didn’t notice anything ever updated since I first saw it a few years back. I’m mainly looking for anodizing resources.
Indium as a mineral supplement
Submitted by Howard Davis on 12 March 2008 - 5:59pm.I came across this web site while doing research on the use of Indium as a mineral supplement. I found an article that dismissed its nutrient value. There were also several comments that supported that thesis. I, however, am not too sure of the accuracy of these comments. While it is true that there has been little study of the possible health benefits form taking Indium, I believe that there may be many health benefits. And, I doubt that taking Indium in the recommend doses and manner is harmful.
