The periodic table and the elements

I need a periodic table with the abb. outer shell

Where can i get a periodic table with abbreviated outer shells for each element??

Do you like isotopes as much as elements?

I made this site yesterday any feedback is welcomed. http://www.isotope-table.com

Standard Electrode Potentials List

We have just been doing alot on galvanic cells and the like in chem class, now i have all these work sheets for it. I get pretty much all the concepts and am doing alright with it except when we right the equations, sometimes the materials listed in the question arent in the electrode potentials table in the book (e.g. platinum), this way i cant do the entire cell potential nor can i figure out which metal is the reductant and which is the oxidant. Can any give me a link for where on web elements or anywhere on the web i can find a very in depth electrode potentials table with lots of materials listed. Our teacher said she would give us the official board of studies one but she hasnt yet and i really need something now. I didnt put this in the homework section because most likely more people will see it here and i think it will be very helpful.

Ununseptium

hi.
i am doing a science project on element 117 (Uus) :o
it hasn't been discovered yet! what do i do!?!?!
[and does anybody know about it?] :P

A question about the protecting layer of magnesium

When I had the experinment about the reacting mass of magnesium, I need to use magnesium, as usual. My groupmates and I found a black and thin protecting layer on the magnesium. We ask our teacher what kind of substance it is. He answered that it is a protecting layer added by the manufaturers but he doesn't know what exactly it is. May anyone answer this question? (If you are not sure as well, may you give some possible answer?) It is known that it should not be oxide of magnesium due to its black outlook.

Experiments

I am trying to find experiments for teaching the periodic table, based on group. I.E., a group of elements reacts "so", while another group does not. Is there anyone who can tell me how to find these experiments?

Thanks.

The colour checking machine 's name? What is it?

My teacher want me to find out the name of a machine that can sense colour. Anyone have any idea on what is it called?

Argon help

ok ive been looking for things about argon, but all i can find is that it is used in lightbulbs... is it really that useless?

the aspect of helium in the periodic table

I have been trying to get an answer to the helium question. The question is that why helium is placed in group 18 in the periodic table but not placed in group 2 or in alkali-earth metal groups.
thanks for the help

Sound Frequencies for elements in Periodic table

Does anyone know how to convert the elements of the periodic table into sound frequencies measured in HZ or cycles per second?
