help cant figure it out

can someone help me i need to know whether any of the following are atoms, ions or molecules
a) Na
b) F2 (little 2)
c) O2 (2 is little and has a minus sign next to it)
d) O
e) SO24 ( the 2 is on the top and the 4 on the bottom and next to the 2 is a minus sign)
f) IO3 (little 3 and it has a minus dash above it)

Na : this is an atom (no charge, not bonded to anything else)
F2 : this is a molecule (two atoms joined together)
O^2- : ion (because it has a charge)
O : Atom
SO4^2- : this is an ion (because it is a charged species)
IO3^- : this also is an ion

Actually Allan means that SO4-2 is a sulfate ion, but he gets positions of numbers mixed up even though his thinking is never mixed up.

Easy way to do this

Just remember that
oxygen
hydrogen
nitrogen
fluorine
chlorine
bromine
iodine
phosphorus
and sulfate need more than one atom to make up a molecule
O2, H2, N2, F2, Cl2, Br2, I2, P4, and S8

The ions are a dead giveaway because they have a charge.
