these look difficult, but this is what i think they are(may not be correct :) )
1)i'm assuming that the CH-CH bond is a double bond, as carbon has a covanlency of 4, in CH3CH2CH-CHCH2CH2CH3.
Therefore its name would be: 1-di-methyl-hept-3-ene
If there isn't a double bond its name would be:
1-di-methyl-heptane
2)2-di-methyl-oct-3-ene
....the others seem a little difficult, i'm a bit busy at the moment, mite have a go later, if i have the time.Hope these were helpful to you
Number 3 is posted incorrectly.
Number 8 is Isopropanol.
Number 9 is 1-3-propanediol, I believe. (It's been a while since I've had an O-Chem class).
Number 6 is also posted incorrectly.
