Acetic acid is stronger acid then H2CO3, so it replaces H2CO3 in its salt.
2 CH3COOH + Na2CO3 -->2 CH3COONa + H2CO3
Also, H2CO3 is acid that easily falls into its peaces (water and carbon- dioxide)
H2CO3 --> H2O + CO2
So:
2 CH3COOH + Na2CO3 -->2 CH3COONa + H2O + CO2
The answer is an aqueous solution of sodium acetate with the evolution of CO2 gas; though older books claimed that "carbonic acid" H2CO3 was produced as a "transient species" the existence of such an entity has never been confirmed.
