OK, a mole of NaCl would
OK, a mole of NaCl would weigh the total of the atomic weights of Na and Cl; you can get those figures from the periodic table and add them up. For a .5 M solution you would need half a mole of NaCl in 1 L of H2O; for 500 ml of solution, you would need half again. You do the math.
