Evaluation of GO/MnO2 composites as supercapacitors in neutral electrolytes: role of graphite oxide oxidation level
DOI: 10.1039/C2JM34294D, PaperMykola Seredych, Teresa J. Bandosz
Formation of the composite containing 10 wt% of mildly oxidized GO and 90% MnO2 results in an improvement in the capacitance (18 times in Li2SO4 and 60 times in Na2SO4) as compared to that measured on MnO2. Addition of highly oxidized GO is not favorable owing to the defects in the layers that limit conductivity and charge propagation.
