A novel anion sensor array based on supramolecular metallogels has been developed. The sensor array could accurately identify CN-, SCN-, S2- and I- in water. Interestingly, the metallogel-based sensor array needs only one synthesized gelator G1.

Free standing TiO2 nanotube membranes are transferred onto FTO slides in front-side illuminated dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The electronic properties of the tubes and, as a result, the efficiency of the DSSCs can be considerably improved by ramped annealing.

We describe a novel strategy for in situ fabrication of hierarchical Fe3O4 nanoclusters-GAs. Fe3O4 NCs-GAs deliver excellent rate capability and a high reversible capacity of 577 mAh g-1 over 300 cycles at the current density of 5.2 A g-1.

For the first time, quaternary single-crystal-like porous AgPb10BiTe12 nanosheets in two solid forms (solid solution and a Bi-rich region coexist) were achieved. A significant enhancement of thermoelectric performance was realized through nanoscale grain boundaries and macroscale porous structures.

The Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) technique was used to immobilize flat graphene oxide (GO) sheets on a PET substrate to ascertain as to whether the edges of GO play an integral part in its antimicrobial mechanism. The observed antibacterial activity suggests that contact with the edges is not a fundamental part of the mechanism.

Reaction of [([small eta]6-C6Me6)Ru(Ph)(PMe3)]+ with internal alkynes gave rise to the 1,4-Ru migration to form the o-vinylaryl complex, providing the first example of 1,4-metal migration of a group 8 metal center; in one case further isomerization to an [small eta]3-allyl complex was observed.
