We demonstrate a fast and facile ultrasound-assisted synthesis of layered Mn3O4 nanosheets supported on reduced graphene oxide, and the as-obtained hybrids exhibited a superior capability for lithium ion storage.

Au/Y2O3:Eu3+ composite nanotubes were synthesized by a hydrothermal method. Novel luminescence properties were observed in Y2O3:Eu3+ nanotubes by composing with Au particles. The effects of the Au content on the photoluminescence of the Au/Y2O3:Eu3+ were investigated.
