Enhanced field emission and photocatalytic performance of MoS2 titania nanoheterojunctions via two synthetic approaches

Two kinds of MoS2 titania nanoheterojunctions were synthesized via different approaches. The excellent field emission performance of the MoS2@TiO2 heterojunctions has been obtained while the TiO2@MoS2 heterojunctions possess better photocatalytic properties.

Reactions of Cd(OAc)2 with V-shaped bipyridyl benzene and five benzenedicarboxylic acid derivatives gave rise to five new CPs. Complexes 1-5 exhibited relatively good photocatalytic activity towards the degradation of methylene blue.

Two novel coordination complexes were synthesized and characterized. Solvent sensing and their thermochromic properties were studied. Complex 1 can be used as a naked-eye sensor for methanol. Complex 2 may be used as a DMF sensor. The thermochromic behaviors of complexes 1 and 2 were investigated.
