For the first time, we report that a single crystal of (K-crypt)2Bi2 containing [Bi2]2- displays ultra-broad near-infrared photoluminescence (PL) peaking at around 1190 nm and has a full width at the half maximum of 212 nm, stemming from the inherent electronic transitions of [Bi2]2-.

Thin film transistors (TFTs) are fabricated on flexible substrates, using single-wall carbon nanotube (SCNT) inks and a suite of printing methods. The all-printed flexible TFTs exhibit good electrical properties with an effective mobility up to 1.5 cm2 V-1 s-1 and an on/off ratio up to 4 [times] 103.
