Argon help
ok ive been looking for things about argon, but all i can find is that it is used in lightbulbs... is it really that useless?

it is useful cos it hardly reacts with anything at all in most circumstances....
so it gets used as in "inert atmosphere" ... we used it in gloveboxes in the labs when doing reactions with air-sensitive proteins, for instance.
Welding uses Argon (look up Argon Shield...tho often they use argon/CO2 mixes)
