Toxicity???

Hey-

Can any one help me? I am trying to find out what the Toxicity of Iron (Fe) and two of its compounds, tenetivly FeO and FeS. As well as the Toxicity of Silver (Ag) and to of its compounds, AgNO3 and AgCl.

The point of this all is to find out which element and its compounds is more dangerous to the water supply.

I am really struggeling here so any help is aprecieted.Web sites are helpful because I need to site reasoures.

The Merck Index has toxicity information on, I believe, every compound therein, and that would seemingly be more than adequate for your needs. You can probably get ahold of one at a library or even the local chemistry teacher's class.
