I have a problem in which I must separate 3 different types of metal ions from a solution using precipitation, Can anyone offer any ideas about how to go about doing this? I have considered introducing metals that are higher in the activity series (they are all considered very low and insoluble, I have also considered introducing compounds of these substances that are soluble. Truth is, I really have no idea. If someone could set me on the right path it would be very appreciated!!!
