What element reacts with acid and oxygen but not with water???
Well you can be sure it's not any of the alkali or alkali earth metals (group 1 & 2), nor any of the halogens (7) or Noble Gases (8).
When you say react, do you mean *react*, as in can react with, to form a new column, or do you mean spontaneously react?
With WHAT acid? There are lots of acids. Mostly all elements react with oxygen.
Sn does not dissolve in H2O, reacts with HNO3, and burns at high temps to form SnO; Si doesn't dissolve in H2O, reacts with HF, and burns at 900 C to form SiO2; C does not dissolve in H2O, at room temp, reacts with hot HNO3, and burns at low temps in your barbeque to form CO2 and CO; this is a very non-specific question.
